Julie Gilbert Named One of 50/50 Women on Boards' 50 Women to Watch
We're proud to share that Julie Gilbert, Founder & CEO of Full Throttle Growth & Capital, has been named to the 2026 cohort of 50/50 Women on Boards' 50 Women to Watch for Boards.
The annual program recognizes 50 women leaders from across North America who are ready to serve on public company boards. This year's honorees, the program's fourth cohort, were chosen from 314 applications by an independent selection committee of board directors, governance experts and executive search leaders. The cohort was announced on July 22, 2026, and is being recognized during Global Summit Week in New York City this September.
50/50 Women on Boards is a nonprofit that advances the business case for diverse boards. Honorees gain year-round visibility with the governance leaders, nominating chairs and CEOs who shape board appointments.
Julie brings an operator's view to every boardroom she serves. A former McKinsey Partner, Best Buy SVP of Enterprise Growth and Polaris Chief Growth Officer, she has founded and led the build of 71 greenfield businesses, and she serves as a corporate, private equity and family office board director, including Board Chair and Vice Chair roles in technology and AI.
